At OSF Healing Pathways, we are a community of caregivers committed to helping cancer patients, survivors and their families live better during and after cancer treatment at no charge.
We provide a welcoming environment to participate in programs and classes, utilize needed resources or drop in for friendship and support. Our services are free for all our guests, not only patients of OSF HealthCare.
Whether you are a cancer patient or a survivor, we empower you by providing resources and support to help cope with the disease and improve your overall quality of life.
OSF Healing Pathways is committed to serving people with the greatest care and love when they need it most. Through education, inspiration and complementary therapies, we encourage you to discover your healing pathways.

OSF Healing Pathways serves individuals with all types of cancer and their families, regardless of age, gender, race, ethnicity or religion.
Vision
Our vision is to provide the region with a full-service cancer resource center, known for its staff and program excellence.
By offering services to complement and support traditional medical treatment, we strive to be a valuable referral source for cancer patients and survivors' psycho-social needs.
Also, we envision partnering with other cancer service organizations to provide a welcoming, non-clinical setting for their programs, speakers and networking groups.

History
Linda Huffman Jones, a Loves Park, Illinois native, was the founder of OSF Healing Pathways Cancer Resource Center.

The group took inventory of the services currently available, conducted focus-group studies, visited five Illinois cancer wellness centers, interviewed health professionals and toured local oncology clinics and hospital units.
Their research led the team to believe there was a real need for such a center in the region. The center opened its doors on April 13, 2010.
