Benefits of Regular Exercise

Lower Cancer Risk

Multiple research studies suggest a link between regular exercise and lower cancer risk.

For example, the American Cancer Society recommends all adults get at least 150 minutes of intentional aerobic activity each week. This is in addition to daily activities like taking the stairs or doing housework.

Additionally, being more active regularly will promote a healthy weight, which is another way to lower your cancer risk.

Improve Recovery from Cancer Treatment

For many cancer survivors, going through cancer treatment can be the wake-up call you needed to take charge of your health. However, you may have lingering side effects from treatment, like pain or fatigue.

Exercise can help you recover from your treatments and allow you to regain control over your health and wellbeing.
